By accessing or using myBeautyGallery (available at mybeautygallery.com and any associated mobile applications), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
myBeautyGallery is a Nigerian-based online marketplace that connects beauty professionals (makeup artists, hair stylists, nail technicians, skincare specialists, photographers, and other beauty service providers) with clients seeking their services.
myBeautyGallery provides the following core services:
- Public profile pages for beauty vendors/companies
- Online booking and appointment management
- Portfolio display and post sharing
- Service listings with pricing
- Product listings and sales
- Reviews and ratings system
- Promotional boosts and featured listings
- Academy and training sessions
myBeautyGallery acts as an intermediary platform. We do not directly provide beauty services and are not responsible for the quality of services delivered by vendors.
To list your business on myBeautyGallery, you must register a company account. By registering, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- The business information you provide is accurate and truthful
- You are authorised to operate the business you are registering
- You will keep your account credentials confidential
- You will promptly update your information if it changes
Free Plan: All vendors may register and maintain a basic profile free of charge. Certain features such as boosts, sponsored posts, and featured listings require payment.
Vendor Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate pricing information on your profile
- Honour confirmed bookings or provide adequate notice of cancellation
- Respond to client inquiries promptly
- Deliver services that match your profile description
- Not post misleading, false, or deceptive content
- Ensure your portfolio photos are original or you have rights to use them
Clients may browse myBeautyGallery without registering. To make a booking, save favourites, or leave reviews, a visitor account is required.
By creating a visitor account you agree to:
- Provide accurate contact information
- Honour bookings you confirm — repeated no-shows may result in account suspension
- Leave honest and constructive reviews based on your genuine experience
- Not use the platform to harass vendors or other users
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@mybeautygallery.com.
When a client makes a booking through myBeautyGallery:
- The booking creates a direct service agreement between the client and the vendor
- myBeautyGallery is not a party to that service agreement
- Payment processing is handled by Paystack (Nigeria) or Stripe (international)
Platform Commission: myBeautyGallery charges a commission on completed bookings processed through the platform. The current commission rate is displayed in your vendor dashboard settings. We reserve the right to adjust commission rates with 30 days' notice.
Deposits: Some vendors require a deposit at the time of booking. Deposit terms are set by the individual vendor. myBeautyGallery is not responsible for disputes over deposits.
Walk-in & Phone Bookings: Vendors may record bookings made outside the platform (walk-in, phone, WhatsApp). These are not covered by myBeautyGallery's payment protection.
Vendors are responsible for all content they upload including portfolio photos, service descriptions, product listings, and posts.
By uploading content to myBeautyGallery you confirm that:
- You own the content or have permission to use it
- The content does not violate anyone's intellectual property rights
- The content does not contain nudity, explicit material, or offensive imagery
- Before-and-after photos are genuine and accurately represent your work
- You grant myBeautyGallery a non-exclusive licence to display the content on the platform and in promotional materials
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms without prior notice.
The following are strictly prohibited on myBeautyGallery:
- Creating fake profiles, reviews, or bookings
- Circumventing the platform to avoid commission (taking clients off-platform after initial contact)
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
- Posting false, misleading, or defamatory content about other vendors
- Using automated tools or bots to scrape data or manipulate rankings
- Impersonating another person or business
- Listing services that are illegal under Nigerian law
- Sharing login credentials with third parties
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or damage the platform
myBeautyGallery may offer promotional credits (including Early Bird credits) to new vendors.
- Promo credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn
- Credits may only be used for platform features such as boosts, ads, and featured listings
- Credits expire on the date shown in your dashboard
- We reserve the right to adjust, suspend, or cancel promo credits at any time
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts
Paid Boosts: Amounts paid for boost campaigns are non-refundable once a campaign has started. If a campaign fails to launch due to a platform error, a full refund or credit will be issued.
myBeautyGallery and McAriel Consult shall not be liable for:
- The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by vendors
- Disputes between clients and vendors
- Loss of earnings by vendors due to platform downtime or changes
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform
- Unauthorised access to your account resulting from your failure to keep credentials secure
Our maximum liability to you in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the three months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@mybeautygallery.com. Upon closure:
- Your public profile will be removed within 7 days
- Pending bookings should be honoured or cancelled with client notification before closing
- Unused paid boost credits are non-refundable
- We may retain certain records as required by law
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice, depending on the severity of the violation.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
